Although the Tools run on a DocNaut domain, these Terms of Use, and not the DocNaut Terms of Service, apply to them.

You may use the Website for your own information and for business contacts with us. You must not:

• use the Website in a way that breaks the law or infringes the rights of others;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our systems or other users’ data, or disrupt the Website, for example by introducing malware or overloading it;
• collect content or data from the Website in bulk with automated means, except for normal indexing by search engines;
• send us unlawful, misleading or harmful content through our forms.

A result from the Tools (for example a validation report) shows how a file compares with the rules that the Tool checks at that moment. It does not guarantee that a document will be accepted by a recipient, a network or an authority, and it does not replace your own checks.

Upload only files that you are entitled to use. Please use test data, or remove personal data that the check does not need. Uploaded files are processed only to return the result and are deleted immediately afterwards; they are not kept.

When you use the Peppol Participant Lookup, the identifier you enter is sent to the official Peppol services (the Service Metadata Locator, Service Metadata Publishers and the Peppol Directory), and the result shows the public data they return. How we process uploaded files is explained in our Privacy Policy.

We take care that the information on the Website is accurate and up to date. It is general information only, for example about e-invoicing rules and deadlines in different countries, and it does not constitute legal, tax or accounting advice. Laws and their application change often; please check the official sources or ask an adviser before you rely on it. We may change or remove information at any time without notice.

The Website and its content, including texts, graphics, logos, the names and brands Eaglessoft, DocNaut, Invocit and eDocSuite, e-books, brochures and software, are protected by intellectual property rights owned by or licensed to Eaglessoft BV.

You may view, download and print pages and documents for your own information. Any other reproduction, distribution or use requires our prior written permission, except where the law allows it.

The Website contains links to websites of third parties, such as our partners, authorities, social media and the websites of our products. We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

The Website and the Tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that they are always available, uninterrupted or free of errors or viruses.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for damage resulting from the use of the Website or the Tools, from reliance on the information on the Website, or from their temporary unavailability.

We may update these Terms of Use, for example when the Website or the law changes. The current version is always published at eaglessoft.com/terms-of-use, with its version number and effective date. Changes apply from the effective date of the new version. Earlier versions are kept and are available on request.
